Nicole & Scott Breier

- Co-Founders -

Scott Breier

Growing up in Cowichan Bay and White Rock, Scott spent his childhood by the ocean fishing, going to beaches and living the west-coast lifestyle. Prior to moving to Penticton he was a power engineer for 11 years, working in oil & gas throughout northern Alberta and BC's lower mainland. He’s always had a passion for entrepreneurship, starting multiple small businesses in his youth. With a love for beer, growing, gardening, and seeing the fruits of his labor, ARBC was born out of this passion and his more technical skillset of making complex systems run. Scott definitely has some running to do now…

Nicole Breier

Nicole grew up near Toronto, minutes away from Lake Ontario, almost in a parallel lifestyle to Scott – spending her time near the lake and paddling the river. She’s from a tight-knit, business minded family and has had an extremely diverse education and work history – holding degrees in Anthropology and International Development Studies, working for a non-profit, changing paths entirely to work in visual merchandising, and also as a buyer for a large BC produce operation! If that wasn’t enough, she also moved to China for a year to teach English – meeting Scott just before leaving…which eventually brought her back to BC.

Scott and Nicole dreamed of opening a brewery, and after a few years of figuring out how, and where, they jumped in head first – both bringing diverse skillsets to make their dream work in one of the most beautiful places in Canada.
