The Brewery

Our Story

Family owned and operated by Nicole and Scott Breier, we opened the doors in March 2022 with our long time friend, Peter Schulz, who completed a five year program to become a certified German Brewmaster.

We're located alongside the picturesque Kettle Valley Rail Trail on the beautiful Naramata Bench and are one of just a handful of farm breweries in the province. Although we are in the middle of vineyards and wineries, our crop is barley, growing 5 acres on site.

We created this brewery to be an all inclusive space where everyone can relax and feel comfortable while enjoying our European inspired beer with friends, family and pets!

The Farm

One thing that sets Abandoned Rail apart is that we're one of just a handful of farm breweries in the province. Growing 5 acres of barley on site, we're able to use our own home grown ingredients in the beer we produce.
